The Path of Righteousness
God’s role in our life, is as that of a shepherd to his sheep. The role the shepherd plays in the sheep life is to provide them with all the things they need to keep them comfortable. His responsibility to his sheep is to prevent them from having the lack of anything they need. The treatment the shepherd provides for his sheep is Love and Protection.
The sheep has only one responsibility to the shepherd: Follow
“The Lord is my shepherd” is a personal statement from the writer. It explains the benefits of accepting God as his shepherd. He explains the things he received from following the path of righteousness:
- Not having the lack of the basic things of life: and receiving God’s blessings.
- Green Pastures the writer describes are having the ability to lie down in; is the enjoyment of a good life such as having the best things life has to offer: accessories to wear, education, food, shelter, good health, transportation, and all the things that results in living a comfortable lifestyle.
- Still Waters represent living a peaceful life; feeling safe, and one that is happiness.
- We can conclude here that the results for the follower on the path of righteousness, is as the writer gives us an insight into: When confronted with the greatest of evil, don’t be afraid to face the challenge, and persevere, because God’s Love and Power will defend you.
To follow the path of righteousness, there is a need to pray to God daily, asking for forgiveness, not taking life for granted, and asking him for guidance to make the right choices and decisions that will result in righteous judgments that are just. Prayer gives us peace and comforts our hearts and results in contentment with happiness. We too can say, The Lord Is My Shepherd

A Prayer in Time of Need
My Prayers Are for Those in Need of the Love of God to Bring Healing and Cures
Heavenly Father,
Please comfort those who mourn, and bring peace into the hearts that are sad.
Place your healing hands upon the bodies of those in pain, and let your power bring deliverance.
Father, send an angel with the spirits of love, joy and warmth, to stand beside those with lonely hearts.
Father, please remember the homeless and the hungry. Provide education resources and financial support.
Father, each of us is your creation. You are the specialist of our body, mind and soul. Show us your grace and grant to us your mercy this day. Please keep us safe and in good health, and hear and answer our prayers.

Love is the Strongest Link that Binds Us Together
God’s Love is revealed within us, when it is expressed for all people.
It is the power of God’s Love that links us together. The strength of his love dwelling within our spirits binds us together in times of disasters, despair, heartaches and tragedies and forms a chain of power as one people.
Within this chain for opportunity is to choose to love God, and the choice to choose to love those who he has created. Therefore, it is impossible to love God and choose who we love and hate.
God is Love, and to Love God, is to Love rather than hate. Hate close opportunities to have peace with others and establish a meaningful relationship.
To become stronger than the things that weakens our character, and breed a generation of people filled with hate for others who disregards all human rights and dignity; committing violent acts against others while showing no remorse will only produce other generations of aggressiveness far more harmful to the human race than previous generations, we must become better people.
In this day and time disrespect for the rights of others, have become a worldwide problem. Women rights to have their bodies respected are being violated by men who commit sexual assault and battery against them.
